Our Love Story…

We met on February 14th, 2012 at the Memorial Union on Arizona State University’s Tempe Campus. We had mutual friends in common, but we had not met each other, until that day. Since it was Valentine’s Day, JJ went to the Memorial Union Market, and bought some of the girls a single stem rose, including Roxana. On that day, we exchanged contact information, and have been together ever since.

Elegant, Romantic, and Timeless

What specific moment on your wedding day took your breath away?

When JJ and I did our first look, that experience was amazing! I was hesitant to do a first look at first, but I am so grateful that I did because it was a special moment that we got to enjoy before walking down the aisle.

What advice would you offer to an engaged couple during their planning process?

For couples working on their planning process, I would encourage them to ask as many questions, and start the process early. We started the process almost two years early and we took our time with it. I think it is important to have a clear vision of what you both want, and communicate that with your wedding venue coordinator.

What made you decide on booking with Garden Tuscana?

We had a vision that we wanted just one location for both ceremony and reception. When we toured the Garden Tuscana and saw how big the reception room was, we were sold! Also, we wanted our wedding to be a good time and not end early, so having the reception open till 1am, was great option for us. If we had to do it again, we would still choose Garden Tuscana!
