Rachael & Scott, Outdoor Wedding Ceremony and Reception

Our Love Story…

We met at a community group through our church. A couple months after meeting, all of the college students in the group had Spring break, but there were still quite a few people that were supposed to be in town, so we decided to meet at DeSoto Marketplace in downtown Phoenix for group that night. The day of, everyone else backed out except for Scott and I. We sat and talked for hours and started dating shortly after that!

What specific moment on your wedding day took your breath away?

Taking a moment during the ceremony and taking a look at all the people who came to support us on our wedding day.

What advice would you offer to an engaged couple during their planning process?

Label things and where they go ahead of time so that you can delegate setting things up since you will more than likely be getting ready in the hours leading up to the ceremony. Don’t get stuck on the little details. Some things will inevitably turn out different than you had intended, but at the end of the day, you are married to the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, and that’s what this whole event was really about.

What made you decide on booking with Garden Tuscana?

The price was reasonable and the venue had most of the stuff included such as the photographer, cake, decorations and catering which relieved a lot of the stress of coordinating with multiple vendors.
